Learn Hangul with Fun (easyhangul.com) is a free website for learning to read, write and type Korean — a short step-by-step course paired with browser games that drill every skill.
What's on the site
The course walks you through Hangul in four short steps: the consonants and vowels (with animated stroke order and audio), how letters stack into syllable blocks, everyday words, and sentence structure — word order, particles, politeness levels, questions and negation.
Each step has games to practice it: sound matching for consonants and vowels, syllable recognition, a word-building puzzle, a sentence-order game, and Rabbit Hangul Typing — our arcade typing game.
About the typing game
In Rabbit Hangul Typing you control a hungry rabbit. Vegetables labeled with Korean words are scattered across a field, and each word you type correctly sends the rabbit dashing over to eat one. Across seven stages, foxes and a farmer join the chase, and power-ups keep you ahead. The on-screen keyboard shows both the Korean letter and its matching English key, so you can learn the two-set (두벌식) layout as you play — no Korean IME needed.
Who it's for
- Complete beginners who want to read Hangul from zero.
- Korean language learners who want to get comfortable typing Hangul.
- Teachers and parents looking for free, no-signup practice material.
How it works
Everything runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create. Pronunciations use your browser's built-in Korean speech, and game records are stored locally on your own device.
