A complete guide to Rabbit Hangul Typing

Rabbit Hangul Typing is a browser game that turns Korean (Hangul) typing practice into a chase. You read a Korean word, type it on your keyboard, and the rabbit dashes across the field to eat the matching vegetable — all while foxes and a farmer try to catch you.

The goal

Each stage scatters several vegetables across the field, and every vegetable is labeled with a Korean word. Your job is to clear all of the vegetables as quickly as possible. There are 7 stages in total, and your final score is the total time it took to finish them all — so faster is better.

Basic controls

  1. Press Enter on the start screen to begin.
  2. Look at a vegetable's label and type that Korean word using the Hangul keyboard layout.
  3. When the word is fully and correctly typed, press Enter to confirm it.
  4. The rabbit automatically runs to that vegetable and eats it.
  5. Use Backspace to delete a wrong keystroke.

You can queue up multiple words: confirm one with Enter, then start typing the next while the rabbit is still moving. Confirmed targets are marked with a numbered badge showing the eating order.

The Korean keyboard layout

The game uses the standard two-set (두벌식) Hangul layout, the most common Korean keyboard layout. An on-screen keyboard is shown at the bottom of the page: each key displays its Korean letter (jamo) along with the matching English (QWERTY) key, so you can learn the positions as you play. You can type with your physical keyboard or click the on-screen keys with your mouse.

As you type, the input bar highlights your progress: completed syllables turn white, the syllable you are currently building turns yellow, and the next key you need is hinted on the keyboard.

Items and power-ups

A small pie timer above the rabbit shows how much boost time remains.
